Job Description

Large international law firm law firm is seeking an experienced and talented Patent Agent with a minimum of 5+ years experience to join its Irvine office. The position requires a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering and large law firm experience is preferred. A Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering or Physics Engineering with interest in intellectual property law is also preferred.

This position requires strong communication skills, both written and oral, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate is hard-working and highly motivated and enjoys working in a fast-paced, energetic team environment. Each patent agent will participate in a patent law course and will be required to pass the United States Patent Agent Bar Exam within a predetermined amount of time.
