Education Resources
- California State University, Fullerton
California State University, Fullerton enrolled 31,545 students enrolled for the spring 2003. U.S. News & World Report ranks California State University among the top 10 of nation's "Top Public Western Universities-Master's" institutions.
- Chapman University
Chapman University was founded in 1861. It is the largest independent university in Orange County is comprised of eight schools and colleges.
- Coastline Community College
Founded in 1976, Coastline Community College offers classes over 60 sites located in Orange County.
- Concordia University
Concordia University comprises of the School of Adult Studies, School of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Education and School of Theology.
- DeVry University
Dr. Herman DeVry established the first training school in 1931. In the year 2002, after a merger and couple of name changes it became DeVry University. It has several locations across USA and Canada.
- Golden West College
The Golden West College was established in 1985 with a mission to provide comprehensive academic opportunity.
- Irvine Valley College
Founded in 1979 as the north campus of Saddleback College, on July 1, 1985 it was established as Irvine Valley College. It is considered as one of the Orange County's best-known educational institute and California's leading community college.
- Orange Coast College
Founded in 1948 on a deactivated World War II military base, Orange Coast College is located in Costa Mesa, California. It offers over 130 academic and career programs. Newport Bay in Newport Beach is located five miles from the campus.
- Platt College
Established in 1896, Platt College-Cerritos offers specialized skill based education in the fields like paralegal, digital media, computer graphics, and computer office specialist.
- Saddleback College
Saddleback College has diverse Academic Programs available in Orange County like Advanced Technology and Applied Science Programs including Aviation, Marine Science, Computer Science, Fashion Design and more.
- Santa Ana College
Santa Ana College is a part of the Rancho Santiago Community College District and their sister college is Rancho Santiago Community College.
- Santiago Canyon Community
Santiago Canyon community college is a fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It offers all the general education courses and several vocational programs.
- University of California, Irvine
The 2003 U.S News and World report ranked University of California, Irvine twelfth amongst all public universities.
- University of California, Irvine, Extension
University of California, Irvine Extension is the continuing education arm of the university. It offers different courses and most of the students already have a college degree.
- University of La Verne
The members of the Church of the Brethren founded the University of La Verna in 1891 as Lordsburg College. It was moved west from the Midwest to settle a new land.
